This basic drinking chocolate recipe is super easy and a good introduction to the world of drinking chocolate.
Drinking chocolate is essentially melted chocolate in milk, so once you know the basic proportions, you can branch out and get creative with your recipes.
Here’s a basic version of drinking chocolate.
Ingredients:
2 oz your favorite chocolate bar (the tastier the bar, the tastier will be your drink…)
1 cup milk
sugar to taste (often not necessary)
Instructions:
Place ingredients in a saucepan over low heat.
Stir constantly until chocolate is dissolved.
Add sugar if desired.
Drink up!
Yummy, but kind of tame.
