Just make sure not to eat them, and make sure no one eats you! You will smell like a bon bon.
Chocolate Bath Salt Recipe
2 cups Epsom salt
1 cup sea salt, rock salt or coarse salt
1/4 teaspoon glycerin
chocolate fragrance oil
Best to do this on a dry day or in a dry room, to avoid clumping. Combine salts in a large glass bowl and mix well. Add the glycerin and 4-5 drops of oil and mix well. Store in an airtight glass jar. Makes 3 cups. Use 1/3 to 1/2 cup in each bath.
Chocolate Bath Recipe #1
1/8 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/8 cup powdered milk
1/4 cup Epsom salt
1 Tablespoon baking soda
1 Tablespoon cornstarch
2 drops lavender oil (optional)
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Add to running bath water. Makes 1 bath.
Chocolate Bath Recipe #2
1/8 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/3 cup instant nonfat dry milk
1/2 cup unscented bubble bath
Add all ingredients to running bath water.
Milk Chocolate Bath Recipe
1 cup powdered milk
1/8 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or a few drops of essential oil, such as lavender, if desired
Mix all ingredients in small bowl. Add to running bath water. Makes 1 large bath.
Chocolate Milk Bubble Bath Recipe #1
1/2 cup unscented bubble bath
2 1/2 Tablespoons unsweetened soy milk
1 1/2 ounces grated or powdered dark chocolate
Warm soy milk in saucepan over medium low heat. Add the chocolate and stir until melted. Do not allow mixture to boil. Let cool. Mix with bubble bath just before adding to running bath water. Makes 1 bath.
Chocolate Milk Bubble Bath Recipe #2
1/2 cup unscented bubble bath
1/4 cup dry milk powder or soy milk
1 1/2 ounces grated or powdered dark chocolate
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon or ginger, if desired
Mix milk and chocolate until well blended. Add bubble bath and spices and mix well. Add to running bath water. Makes 1 bath.
Bubbly Chocolate Bath Recipe #1
1 cup mild shampoo (baby shampoo) or a mild dish soap
1/3 cup glycerin
2 Tablespoons water
chocolate fragrance oil
Gently mix shampoo, glycerin, and water. Mix in 10 – 25 drops of chocolate oil. Store in an airtight container. Add a small amount to running bath water.
Bubbly Chocolate Bath Recipe #2
4 cups distilled water
1 bar grated castille soap (4 ounce bar)
2 ounces glycerin
chocolate fragrance oil
Warm the water, then add soap. Stir until dissolved. Add glycerin. Add chocolate fragrance oil as desired. Store in an airtight container. Add a small amount to running bath water.
Chocolate Chip Bath “Cookies”
2 cups sea salt or rock salt
1/2 cup baking soda
1/2 cup cornstarch
2 tablespoons of almond oil
1 teaspoon vitamin E oil
1-2 eggs
4-5 drops chocolate fragrance oil
chocolate sprinkles (optional)
Mix all ingredients, then flatten into cookie shapes. If desired, add chocolate sprinkles to the mixture or sprinkle on top of each cookie. Bake at 350 F for 10-12 minutes. After cooling, store in an airtight container. Will keep longer in refrigerator. Use 1 or 2 per bath.
Chocolate Ice Cream Bath Fizzies
1/4 cup citric acid
1/4 cup corn starch
2 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
7 Tablespoons coconut oil
Mix dry ingredients. Melt coconut oil, drizzle over dry ingredients, and mix. Scoop with an ice cream scoop onto wax paper. Let dry 2 days. Makes about 3 fizzies. Use 1 per bath.
Chocolate Milk Bath Sachets
1 cup baking soda
1 cup instant nonfat dry milk
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 Tablespoons cinnamon
2 Tablespoons cream of tartar
2 Tablespoons cornstarch
Mix all ingredients together. Place about 3 tablespoons in the center of a nice handkerchief. Tie with ribbon, leaving a loop to hang over the faucet. Use one sachet per bath, hanging the sachet on the faucet so that warm water passes through it. Store in an airtight jar. Will keep up to 6 months.
